Our story
EEP C.I.C was founded by people who believe that every young person and every woman in North London deserves the chance to thrive — regardless of where they come from or what they've been through.
Who we are
EEP C.I.C — Empower, Educate, Protect — was born out of a simple but urgent belief: that the communities of Haringey, Islington and Camden are full of potential that too often goes unsupported.
We started small, working directly with young people and women who needed more than just services — they needed solidarity, skills and a community that had their back. Over time, that grassroots energy grew into structured programmes that are changing lives across North London.
Today we run three interconnected pillars of work: Youth Empowerment, Women's Programmes, and Environmental Stewardship. Each one is shaped by the people it serves, and each one is rooted in the same conviction — that a more equitable community is built person by person, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
What drives us
We believe in people's capacity to shape their own futures. Everything we do is designed to build confidence, skills and agency.
We work to dismantle barriers — of race, gender, class and circumstance — that prevent people from living full and dignified lives.
We are rooted in the neighbourhoods we serve. Our strength comes from relationships, trust and showing up consistently.
We think long-term — about people, about the planet, and about building organisations and communities that last.
Our patch
We are proudly rooted in three North London boroughs — each with its own character, challenges and incredible community spirit.
One of London's most diverse boroughs, Haringey is home to vibrant communities and significant inequality. We work here to bridge that gap.
A borough of contrasts, Islington combines wealth and deprivation side by side. Our programmes here focus on inclusion and opportunity.
Creative, multicultural and complex, Camden is a place where community-led change has always had deep roots. We're proud to be part of that tradition.
